I recently went to the Dare2Share conf. in St.Louis and it was a trial run i brought just a few young people to kinda test the waters.there are some things that i want to say, when it comes to being organized you guys are the best i think i have ever seen. I understand alot about the things around "Compassion" and all and i think we do need to help but when you have 9000 plus teens that cant even afford a hamburger and they get to the conf after spending x amount of dollars then return home with a packet that will cost that family 32 dollars a month, it doesnt seem like alot but for most after all thats given threw the year the last thing our families need is to feel guilty about not being able to send the money. teenagers for the most part dont have the money mom and dad does.I promise to you i dont meen to be critical it was just to much. Greg if you are reading this I believe in you,I met you at conclave in Chattanoga about three years ago and as a speaker and teacher God has his hand on you. But where are you at, in all this( nothing seemed to mesh ). Bro. Mark Hayes Woodland Mills FBC

I have to agree with Katelin, the girl who commented before me. Dare2Share was an amazing experience. I learned many new things and became closer to God. D. Gray was amazing, your messages really made me think about what is important in life, and Lincoln Brewster did a wonderful job along with the Washington Projects. But, i did feel as if some of the things were hindering me from feeling God's Presence there. Some of the movie clips were inappropriate. They distracted me and kept me from focusing on the message and what God was trying to do in my life. And I, too, noticed that we did not pray during the entire morning service on the second day. We should have been praying during every spare minute, especially since we were about to go door to door. But, something that really let me down was Hawk Nelson's appearance. When I hear them on the radio, i think they are amazing and their music really relates to me. But when they walked on stage, i didn't feel that at all. I still loved Dare2Share and the whole experience. It was amazing and i feel much closer to God now.

Hi, My name is Katelin Hayes. At the end of last year my youth pastor mentioned a leadership trip called dare2share. I really didn't know if God was leading me to go on this trip because I did not see my self as a "leader". So, I prayed long and hard about going to dare2share, and I felt as if God was leading me to go. I was really excited about it because I thought it may help me to grow stronger in Christ and learn more about witnessing to others. I LOVED D.Gray! He had a wonderful testimony and I could relate to him alot as well as others in our youth group. I also would like to say "Job Well Done" to Lincoln Brewster and The Washington Projects. Another person I would like to commend would be you. Your messages were comprehendable and very touching. You seem to be a very devoted and Godly man. On the other hand there were a few things that went on at dare2share I felt were inappropriate. One of the things I felt was inappropriate would be the showing of Nacho Libre, Transformers, Superman, Dumb and Dumber, and A Night In the Muesum in between your message points. I felt as if all of these were taking away from the depth of your message, not only that but they are not Christian based movies. However, I liked when you showed the clips of The Passion of the Christ, Facing the Giants, and the clips with your son. They added emphasis to what you were speaking about and were not a distraction. It may have been accidental, but I was also very shocked today during the morning service when I realized that throughout the entire service, no one took a moment to pray. I felt that having 9,000 teenagers gathered at dare2share to worship Christ and to learn more about how to be a "leader", prayer should have been the "leaders" of dare2share's main focus. I can not begin to explain to you how I felt about Hawk Nelson's appearance. I was in total shock at the way they were acting at a Christian Convention. Our youth group lives by the memory verse Romans 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is of good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Overall I learned alot through this conference. Please email back.
