Rocky was best picture for 1976, not 1978 as per the OP. Anyway, Rocky is one of the best films ever made, no doubt.

OH MAN!!! I love this blog man! Rocky movies are the greatest of all time…. except for number five. I really just didn’t like that one at all. I think my personal favorite is 3 or 4. i can’t decide they’re all so great. Rocky is great inspiration since i’m training to be a boxer. however, some of my favorite lines are Rocky: "I feel like a Kentucky fried idiot!" Mick: "You’re gonna eat lightning and you’re gonna crap thunder!" Rocky: "I might got what you’d call a relaxed brain or something, but I ain’t punchy…." Paulie: "Hey Rock, you remember all that stuff I said in there?" Rocky replies, "yeah." Paulie says, "Forget it" Rocky – "Thanks Paul…." This was just before he fights Drago! GO ROCK!

I watched the 1st Rocky in Human Survival class this semester…I loved it! I almost cried at the end though haha but honestly…I think its one of the best movie’s I’ve ever seen it was THAT good!

I was there, in the Dodge Theater. Sorry about the wreck, but as usual God will work it all for the good! I love Rocky. I am actually Rocky’s Youth pastor. Well a much younger Rocky but a fan none the less. He had a Rocky fest for the youth group at his house a few weeks ago. They were there all day and watched the first 5 Rocky flicks. He is really a great teenager as are all of my teenagers! I kind of like Rambo too. "How do we live John?" asked his Col. "Day by Day" replies John Rambo. Some more words to live by there Lane.
