Hey whats up Greig. 1 Timothy 4:12-13 will give encouragement to all the teenager/youthful soliders of the cross. {12} Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. {13} Until I get there, focus on reading the Scriptures to the church, encouraging the believers, and teaching them. If you want to share your faith and share it effectivley, put Jesus in the middle of it, or it won't produce any good fruit. Pray and pray often throughout your day to see with His eyes the opportuinities that await. Walk closely with the LORD and the KING of Kings will begin to lead you like the Good Shepherd he is to shine your light and share your faith. You will be amazed at the sense of ease there will be when you step out in faith, there will be His grace and power. If He asks you to do something, He will provide all you need... Joshua 6/12/07

If adult people start sharing their faith with other nonbelievers it might help us in a way. It would show us, the teenagers, how to do it rightly and when is the best time. As well our world might become a change. As well our churches will start growing when everybody start sharing their faith. I hope i see that change pretty soon.

Greg Christian parents are not modeling evangelism. Parents are still the #1 influence upon teenagers. As Youth Leaders we must get up in the grill of the parents to truly infect children and teenagers. - J

thats sad. its sad becasue its true. I see my parents, both strong Christians, but niether have ever really shared thier faith. It saddens me that this is the case. But it is very true that students model those who teach them. We ALL really need to step out there and share more!

Hey I actually have a question about the GOSPEL Journey. I was wondering who sings the song and what is the name of it. I love the song and so does my youth leader and we were wondering if we could sing the song in church. thanks a ton for everything.

Hey, Greg. I was one of those adults who subscribed to the " the way you live your life is the only Bible many people will ever see" philosophy. 99% of the congregants and leadership in my church still believe that this is valid evangelism. Romans 10 REALLY convicted me that God's children need to HEAR as well as SEE the Good News: "13for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."[f] 14How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15And how can they preach unless they are sent?" Oh, yeah. One final thought. It was and is the Holy Spirit, acting through you and D2S, that nailed and nails me to share the Good News of the GOSPEL. May He always act through you and D2S, my friend. - Will

Today when I checked my e-mail I seen the Dare-2-Share on my e-mail and said lets look and see what's going on when I seen the question on Greg Stier's webstie entitled, "Why don't teenagers share their faith more often?" Will let me tell you this I'm a teen that lives in Macon, Missouri which is a small town of course but I've study that teenagers are more scared to share their faith with others like: friends, family, teachers, co-workers, ect. but with me on the other hand I start opening up and knowing that it's ok for the world to know that I believe in God and His word when I got hurt not to long ago with my leg the church that my brother and sister goes to they started praying for me and praying that my leg would heal like it should so that I could be a normal kid again. I could feel God's healing with my leg because it dosen't hurt like it did but another thing that I had to do was to believe in God and let him lead me in what to say and do around others to make them see that just by believeing and trusting you can go far with God's word I didn't know that when I was 17 years old but when I turned 18 and I got re-bapisited back in Feb. I started to trust in God more than ever and now I know it's ok to share the word of God. When I went to Dare-2-Share my first time in 2007 I was feeling really bad about where I would be going when I died and or if I died today then when everything got over I didn't want it to stop I wanted it to go on but I knew I had a church that will help me when I got back home but now I'm happy as can be just by believeing in God and telling others about what God has done for me and what happen to me when I thought I knew who God was when I didn't. And yes I'm more braver to tell my story to the world because I'm not so afraid anymore because I found the true God that made me as his own child and I'll be going back to Dare-2-Share again when it comes back up again and if I get asked to I would like to speak.
