    What you got youth leaders?

Check out John Curiale’s youth ministry website from New Smyrna Beach, Florida (shark bite capital of the world btw!!!) It is all about THE Cause! What’s THE Cause? It’s a radical new program that’s 2,000 years old! It is Christ’s call to make disciples who make disciples (Matthew 28:19).

What you got youth leaders? I’m calling you out to follow John’s lead and get THE Cause rocking in and through your youth group!

Way to go Alyssa. I am very proud of you. Why not use Soul Fuel on http://www.dare2share.org? They are short articles that you can read and there are interactive discussion questions that you can talk about. This weeks Soul Fuel is on Tiger Woods. Check it out on the website and keep going for it!

Go Alyssa!! Are you getting the book Shreddin The Gnar? ;) I got it on Saturday.

Ah!! Greg, I need help or prayer or something… I’m still in school til 2:20, and we’re supposed to be writing this 2 paged paper on at least three topics or issues that we have discussed in class where you believe that you have grown, learned, evaluated or changed your mind…

we can write about personal goals met, leadership skills developed, communication skills, self-awareness, assertiveness, tolerance, patience, maturity, etc. Relationships. how we hope to grow personally. That’s not the problem… it’s sharing it infront of the class that makes me freak out.

I guess I get deeper into what I say than other people… i don’t know. It’s not that I don’t want to, cuz I do… it’d lead into the gospel.

I know, and you know that they need Jesus now. I just don’t understand why I’m freaking out. I’ve realized, after reading the book ‘Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations’ , that everyones cozy little comfort zones are all built of fear.

Fearing the unknown… not wanting to look like a fool again, not wanting to cry and look weak or whatever… past experiances play a role somewhere in it. And the only way to break that fear is to go for it and trust God with the situation…

We can’t live by fear and faith at the same time…. satan has read 2 Tim. 1:7 and Hebrews 11:6 too. Fortunatly, fears are just well concealed lies. Often, I find the fence of fear (comfort zone) up when I want to share Jesus with someone… no one likes feeling rejected, humiliation, pain, lame… etc.

Pray for the fear to leave and that I’ll have the strength to share it and the words to say…

Guess I should get back to writing. ugh, I’m not even in the mood to write this 2 paged paper… double-spaced. I quit on double spacing… its lame and annoying. How do they even know if its double spaced or not? lame.
