I don't know where I would be if I hadn't gone to D2S last march. (Gameday, at least when I get to see it, seems very far away. I can't wait!) Since I'm homeschooled my goal is to use what I learned at Revoulution while I play sports. And soon I can use the Gameday material! (won't that be fitting?) Everyone kept asking me what I am going to speak on. I told them the "Full-Gospel." They just looked at me like "huhhh?" I took heed to your encouragement at the Willow Student Ministries Conference and my week went like this . . . 1st night speaking - shared my life story 2nd night speaking - shared the reality of God 3rd night speaking - shared the problem with the world today (sin) 4th night speaking - shared who Jesus is and what He accomplished 5th night speaking - shared what it means to truly believe (saving faith) and where it leads us (eternal life) Dude, it was amazing to see that the simple gospel message from God to creation to the fall to Christ to faith to eternity - still has the supernatural power to transform a heart! Every war has a victor. When that victor is the "good", a hero is created. The hero ensures freedom. The freedom gained promotes safety, and from safety, peace. That peace allows remembrance and courage. Courage spawns action of the warrior. That champion's actions encourage and motivate the spectators. Spectator's join the warriors. Soon the disputant is out numbered, beaten and resigned. Make no mistake about it, God's battle is not without loss, but it is by no means a Pyrrhic victory. War, what it it good for? Every war must have a victor. My victory is in God, my hero is Jesus Christ. I am no longer a spectator. And as far as a Pyrrhic victory......well if Christ was willing to die, then there is no cost too great! Love you Greg, and the ministry God has given you and others there at D2S.
