Un Number 3: Unapologetic Persuasion

Posted on Tuesday 31 July 2007 by Greg @ 7:00 am
Filed under: Rants

Peter, Paul and the boys were unapologetic in their attempt to persuade everyone around them to convert to Christianity. In Acts 2 Luke records that with many words Peter pleaded with the Jews to become believers in Jesus. In Acts 26 King Agrippa rebukes Paul for trying to persuade him to become a Christian. Paul’s response? "I pray God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am…."

Are you persuading everyone around you to become Christians? Are you lovingly persuading them to consider the claims of Jesus? Are you gently and unrelentingly sharing the good news of Jesus?

Remember that global revival comes with a price. Are you willing to pay it? Am I?

Signed, Greg Stier

    • Very good point Mr. Stier. Tonight, I start with my friend Alyssa. Maybe she will come to my youth group with me. I know this is what God wants. He has been telling me to share with her about Him ever since NYC, but I just keep letting it slip. Not any more though. I can’t wait to talk to her!
