wow,great post.

I need some help here. I might be going to worlds of fun in KC and I was wondering if someone could tell me how to turn the talk of rollercoasters and what not into a spiritual conversation... its a trip we get to go on in one of my classes at school. I don't think any of them know Jesus. Pray that I'll have all the right words to say if I go on Saturday. Pray that I'll 'Shred the Gnar'

A few weeks ago, I gave my dad a three page letter all about Jesus and my Bible and a book mark with a scripture on it...He has went without Jesus for almost 42 years. I don't know how people live without Jesus. I also gave him a list of songs. Hold On-33Miles and Hold Fast-MercyMe were just a few of the like 50 songs. Pray they he'll accept Jesus. And alson pray that he'll come to Tribulation Christmas in December.
Another prayer request, pray for the ministry I, with Gods' help, have created a group for people who LOVE Jesus and the name is Souls4Christ. Pray that we get more members!! (add us on myspace, facebook and bebo!)

I feel like im asking too much ):

"Those who don’t know Christ are not the enemy. They are victims of the real and invisible enemy. We must love hanging out with them and they should love hanging out with us. And when we are, we shouldn’t be tempted to knock their whiskey bottles, cigarettes or whatever out of their hands. Instead we proclaim the truth in love. We care about them, listen to them and joyfully, humbly bring them to Jesus. He will deal with the rest of their garbage from the inside out…just like he deals with us and our garbage every day."

This should be repeated at every turn when someone in a congregation makes the "judgement" statement..."We don't want any of 'them' (goth, punk, obnoxious, contemporary music-lover, etc....) here in 'our' church." (ahem...whose church is this, anyway?)

If you don't mind, I'm going to commit this to memory....it's the most loving way of "spiritually smacking someone upside the head" I've seen in a very, very long time.

Well...convicted AGAIN!
Greg, I LOVE the way God uses you "that whenever you open your mouth (or stroke a keyboard) words may be (are) given you so that you will fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which you are an ambassador in chains (to Jesus Christ)." I "pray that you may declare it fearlessly, as you should", my brother.

Greg,

Great post. I have to keep reading it over and over again to pick up the different messages that came from just that one post!

It's just like what your book Venti Jesus Please points out... that Nick was not what Jared and Jen thought of most Christians to be. We need to break the stereotypes by our actions and our love for others. We need to break free of our intolerance for others and remember that we are fighting a bigger battle than flesh and blood alone.

Thanks for the reminder! Praying for all who read this that they will be able to pray that God use them to touch their non-Christian friends in a way they never have before, through tolerance of them, but intolerance to sin.

In Him,
Beth

I thought its was really powerful and I want to know if you'll pray for me to be able to share with my friends the glory of God and the plan he has for them and all of us. Also pray for me to keep with my faith because and being pulled strongly by temptation.

btw... can you pray for my homosexual friends who misinterpret the Bible and believe that it doesn't say that homosexuality isn't a sin?
