Wow those are kind of deep questions for a six year old to be asking. When I was six all the serious questions I asked was "who's that?" pointing to some random person walking on the street(and my mom would say bo-bo to every person). But In the either-or situation Jesus gave that same choice he gave to the diciples to us. I know what the right answer is. Almost everyone does. But that does not mean that is the one we will choose. I have had a bit of an issue in my life recently. I lost my cell phone for about 3 days a few weeks ago. I almost went crazy! and I then I truely realized I have a very strange atatchment to my worldly pocessions. I know what I would want to do and possibly would do that, choose Jesus that is instead of my pocessions. the sad thing is I would probably mourn over the lost of my stuff and what not and how much this and that cost. I think we all just get really caught up in what we have temporarely(sp?) rather than what we will have eteranlly, which is Jesus christ and his never ending love and life with him.

My mind immediately goes to Eph. 5:1, "Be ye followers of Christ, as dear children". Isn't it so cool when God speaks to use through our children! Sometimes we try to analyze things too much when God is trying to say "It really is simple, just believe in Me and trust Me like a child trust his daddy." Greg, God has so spoken to me about our youth and how he is moving among them. I am inspired many times with your vision to reach every teen with the message of the cross, but do it through other teens. To anybody that says that there will not be another Great Awakening this side of Heaven, It may just be our generation of teens and children that He uses!! May God bless His work that you are doing and bless your family with an extra measure of His love while your on the road and away from them.

I, too, have a younger daughter (age 5) that asks the most amazing questions. She's even been known to remind me to pray for people and certain needs that I've forgotten all about! I believe that the closer we get to the time of Jesus' return, the more these things are going to happen. He truly is pouring out His Spirit upon our progeny and it's exciting! All too often parents dismiss the questions and random comments their children say to them, merely because they are so young. Sounds like your little man is closely tuned in to his heavenly Dad. May God give us all ears to hear His voice, even through the most (to us) unlikely of people. And way to go on the answers Dad (and Mom)! Sounds like you're tuned in closely to your heavenly Father as well. :0) Blessings, Emanna

At this point in time it is indeed easy to choose to follow Jesus, and I whole heartedly agree. There is a time however comming that just confessing Jesus will be a criminal offence. So when it comes to not only your possesions, family but our very lives that we may be forced to give-up, will iwethen have the strength of faith to answer that question. these thoughts continually run through my mind, and I remind myself of the time Jesus was tempted in the desert. I use that as an example of what I am to do. We need to stay in prayer, stay in the word, and in fellowship with other christians. it is only when we take ownership of our faith, and our blessings that we as christians canlet the world go, and live only in and for Jesus. May God bless you all.

I love that verse. I choose to give up everything. Whatever the cost. Whenever, Wherever, Whatever. That is the strongest testimony a child can see. Parents dedicated to them and to Jesus Christ. I believe God does have big plans for Jeremy and I have no doubt in my mind you and Deb are the trainers. No pressure.
