I am from Atlanta, well actually a suburb. What is interesting about the tornados in Atlanta, none of us knew it had hit downtown until Saturday when family from other states called us to see if we were okay.
okay, it actually showed up…it’s so beautiful, but at the same time, deadly
i cant belive that happend 1 week after we were there for dare2share!!! thank God it didnt come during that weekend….God really protected us from that!!!!
scary but incredible and beautiful! it really shows God’s power!
ok so you know how there was a basketball game going on when the tornado hit? well did you notice how it went into over time? well if it hadnt a bunch of people would be leaving the game and gone out into the storm and could have died. amazing that god wanted the game to go into over time because if it hadnt many people would have been hurt.

Wow.
It truly is amazing how something so deadly can be so beautiful at the same time.
And i totally wrote that before i read post #15! lol
omg im glad we were there the week b4 thats suppa scary
When I heard about the storm I was once again in awe of God’s power. I testified in our church that Sunday and reminded our congregation of how God is in control. I teach our Children’s Church group at church and used an illustration of what I would have told the younger children about this event. I believe the storms wnated to come the previous week, and God said,”Storm, do you see those young people praising my name, so you see them worshiping me, many for the first time, do you see the many Youth Leaders renewing their convenant with me? You will have to wait. My children are there today.” And the storm waited. God is in control!
