The top 10 reasons to volunteer at a Dare 2 Share conference!

    10. Impact the surrounding community spiritually and physically by helping outreach through the canned-food drive.

    9. Wear a cool radio headset all weekend and chit-chat with all the Dare 2 Share staff. (Sorry, limited only to Team Coordinators)

    8. Feel like a teenager again.

    7. Serve with fellow brothers and sisters who are just as passionate about the Lord as you are.

    6. Be encouraged to be as un-afraid about sharing your faith as this next generation does.

    5. Get an opportunity to heckle me from the crowd.

    4. After the heckling having the opportunity of being escourted out by fellow volunteers.

    3. See the conference for free when you volunteer for 2 out of the 3 available shifts.

    2. FREE T-SHIRT (even for those who were carried out after heckling me!)

    1. Witness first hand HEARTS BEING CHANGED as God works through teens in an amazing way!

I have been blown away by our volunteers that have served with us over the years. We have had retired folks, college students, entire small groups, moms and daughters, husbands and wives, and the list goes on and on.

If you have not already signed up to partner up with us in serving at a conference weekend, sign up now. Stop what you are doing right now and build up the next generation for Christ. Click on this link and sign up for this awesome opportunity.

Did you know it takes over 1,300 volunteers to serve with us to pull off a conference weekend within a tour season. That is more than 11,000 hours of service represented. That’s a lot of hours and we cannot do it alone.

Here are our needs for you to pray about in hopes you will serve with us in a city coming near you.

    • Columbus Ohio, January 30-31 – we need 85 more volunteers to serve with us
    • Lincoln Nebraska, February 20-21 – we need 101 more volunteers to serve with us
    • Phoenix Arizona, February 27-28 – we need 115 more volunteers to serve with us
    • Atlanta Georgia, March 6-7 – we need 109 more volunteers to serve with us
    • Seattle Washington, March 20-21 – we need 90 more volunteers to serve with us
    • St Louis Missouri, March 27-28 – we need 179 more volunteers to serve with us
    • Chicago Illinois, April 3-4 – we need 86 more volunteers to serve with us

Don’t just take my word for it; listen to what this Denver alumni volunteer said about their experience:

“I just want to send a heart-felt thank you for allowing me and my brother, Matt to assist you all in the awesome experience of Dare2Share! Every single time I volunteer I am just blessed to the brim! Seeing the teens experience a new life in Christ and being on fire for Him is so overwhelmingly amazing that I just can’t help but come back every year! So sign me up for the “Invincible” tour!”

Sign up now by going to www.dare2share.org/volunteer and fill out our on-line volunteer form. If you have any questions feel free to contact Molly at molly@dare2share.org

Hope to see you there serving at the Invincible tour!

*Must be 18 years of age, out of high school and pass all security screening to be eligible to volunteer.

    Signed, Greg Stier

      • I have one more reason; for the absolute joy and blessing you experience from watching 100+ teens put their faith in Christ on Friday night. And the opportunity to travel somewhere you’ve never been. Okay, that make two reasons. But whatever your reason it doesn’t feel like volunteer work, it’s more like joining a family get together. People coming from all over to talk about, experience and serve Jesus in one place. Kind of like what happened in the early church (Acts). Thanks for the opportunity to be part of the Dare2Share family (volunteer).

      • Why do I volunteer? Let’s see.

        Time off work = $100.00
Pay for hotel night = $125.00
Seeing God at Work = Price less

I could have never iamgined what this weekend does for my heart. It is like a breath of fresh air from this hectic world.

Another thing to add, don’t just stop at the conference. I volunteered at the informational meetings hosted by Greg at Dave & Busters, or wherever they are held in your city…

        Another great opportunity..

      • I remember going to the first D2S Conference in STL with my youth group when I was in the 6th grade. I guess that would have been 9 years ago… I remember how awesome the conference was and how encouraging and exciting Greg was, and most importantly how passionate he was about leading a generation, not afraid of PU, but willing to give it all to reach this world for Christ.

I continued going every year, going from church to church, then to the St. Charles Family Arena, The America’s Centere, and almost filling up the Scottrade Centere.

Once I graduated High School, I started volunteering for the conference last year in St. Louis, and this will be my second year, and I even decided to volunteer the Chicago Conference.

Not only is this a great experience, but you know you are helping enrich and grow the kingdom.

It is better to give then to receive and this is def. one of those times. Don’t worry about missing work or having to pay for parking, etc… as a college students those were worries of mine, but God took care of it, and it was an amazing weekend!!

Now I am living in STL, and am closer to the venue and can’t wait to volunteer again!

I notice they need volunteers for STL, if you are in the area, please do so. I know I will spread the word at my church..
