My husband is from Haiti. We have been struggling this past week to a) find his family and b) get them to some sort of safe place down there. We have found some of his family is alive, but they are missing in the chaos. In the chaos are two little girls (11) and (13). We have 3 aid groups actively seeking them- if you can please pray they are found.

all the best.

Sounds like God is using you to do some amazing things Sarah. Keep up the great work! I LOVE what God is using you to do. Make sure that you keep sharing the good news of Jesus along the way (as I'm sure you will.) This is a tremendous opportunity to spread the gospel as you are calling others to get involved with the devastation in Haiti. Thanks as well for the idea. Although we won't be able to do anything formally through the Dare 2 Share conference in Columbus this year we fully support and applaud what you are doing! I am VERY proud of you and will pray for you in your efforts. Please pray for us as well as we seek to cast a vision of mobilizing an army of teenagers all across America who will be change agents just like you are on their campuses, facebook pages, communities, and, in your case, the planet! Imagine an army of Sarah's unleashed in every school across America to live and give the gospel. That's what we are praying for and pushing for this year through the Blaze Tour. Pray with us to this end and keep on living THE Cause in powerful ways. I can't wait to hear what God has done through you when I get to Columbus.

Wow, that was intense.

I am a student and have been to the last two Dare2Shares in Columbus, Ohio. And I LOVE what you guys do there. I'm sad next year's my last time going ): Although I have thought about volunteering after I graduate, I think that'd be a lot of fun.

Um, I know this is super last minute, but, I mean, the earthquake did just happen so I didn't know about this. A teacher at my school, my boyfriend, and myself have actually started a fundraiser to collect money, non-perishable foods, water, games, appliances, and supplies (I have a whole list of items) for an orphanage in Haiti--Destiny Village. A local realtor helps run Destiny Village and is sending a truck filled with stuff we collect on February 20th. We've asked local businesses for donations, next week we are asking schools in our district for help, the runner of our school newspaper is getting into contact with local newspapers, basically anything we can think of. Well, Dare2Share is a pretty big deal and with lots of people.

I was just wondering if it would be at all possible for Dare2Share to ask for donations when you are in Columbus, whether it be monetary through the students and youth leaders (like each person just donate one dollar or however much they'd like to donate), or anything at all. I can provide jars for the money, I can do anything to help. We are just desperate for anything. I know you guys have the whole Compassion thing going on and the canned food drive, so maybe this is too much to ask for. I completely understand if you can't help us. Just please think it over. Thank you for your time.
