Ten reasons I love sharing my faith

Posted on Tuesday 3 November 2009 by Greg @ 8:57 am
    Filed under: Rants

    1. Beside dying on the cross for someone else’s sins, it is the ultimate way you can love your neighbor.
    2. It is exciting!
    3. It is a message that is easy to understand and explain.
    4. It gets self righteous people ticked off and who doesn’t like making prudes mad?
    5. When done with the right motives it makes God smile.
    6. It gives people the audacity of everlasting hope.
    7. It advances the kingdom of God.
    8. It builds the heavenly choir with new worshippers to sing praises to His Name.
    9. It is just like introducing someone to your best friend and hero.
    10. It saves people from the wrath of God and everlasting destruction (aka “hell”)

      • I agree :) It is exciting. I get into conversations about Jesus like everyday and some of the time I have no idea how it happened. It’s awesome. I was bumbed out because my Mormon friend wasn’t at school. Didn’t get to bring it up with her. But, I did have a conversation with this one girl whom she’s told me her name thousands of times and I still don’t know it. It was about halloween. too bad lunch isnt longer.

got to go… ugh I cant stand chemistry. :/

      • Nice! Forgive me, but it’s exciting getting self-righteous prudes mad! I LOVE the audacity of Everlasting Hope! And a suggestion for 10 – It Plunders Satan’s kingdom (aka Raider fans) and brings these crazed maniacs into the Kingdom of Crazy Love! Lookin’ forward to Friday Blaze!

      • It ignites passion and gives purpose to the faith of believers. Just echoing the thoughts you shared with youth workers here in Portland. May God’s kingdom expand as his people are equipped and encouraged this week in Denver!
