Tan and tired

Posted on Thursday 17 January 2008 by Greg @ 1:46 pm
Filed under: Rants

I’m back in Denver now. It’s like 12 degrees. But I’m tan (for me anyway.) I’ve graduated from a pasty white to a nice vanilla bean skin tone after two and a half weeks in the Hawaiian sun.

Looking forward to diving back into work once I fully wake up. It’s been like a dream. But the cold blast of Colorado wind is starting to awaken my mind even as my fingers lose feeling from the cold.

Signed, Greg Stier

    • Weather is not a personal experience, Greg. It just feels that way. It snows on everyone, but it’s *your* fingers that are dropping off. It’s just mother nature trying to kill us. “Thankyou for your application, but you have been unsuccessful on this occasion. Better luck in your next life…” Many people don’t have a strenuous enough doctrine of the fall, and I’m pretty sure that this is the real meaning of bad weather. (Maybe there’s no such thing as bad weather, though. Maybe there’s just the wrong clothes?)

Glad you’re buff and tanned. Also glad there’s no photo. *<;o)
