Dear Greg, I attended Atlanta's Dare2Share conference this year and was completely and utterly changed. Your conference gave me something I had been lacking in my faith for a long, long time -- and that's confidence. But not only have I grown wiser about sharing my faith, I've also grown in my faith. I've come to talk with God more, not just pray. :) But mostly the reason why I wanted to leave you a comment was to THANK YOU. Because of the Dare2Share challenge, after I returned to school - I've been witnessing to a friend all week...and last night, she was SAVED. Praise God! :) Thank you so much for your amazing conference of life-changing events and unforgettable fun. You've not only changed my life, but given me the confidence to let God use me and to make a profound difference in my friend's life. Her name is now written in the book of life. :) thank you.

Hey Greg! I totally loved Dare 2 Share! This was my first year attending and it was awesome. My youth group was probably one of the largest there with about 100 kids, which is awesome in and of itself. But when i got there i thought i would just be listening to some speaker and some bands...That changed when I walked into the arena and listened to you speak. You are an AMAZING speaker and I can't wait til next year. On Fire for God! Kristen

Greg! I just wanted to let you know. My name is Daniel Peavy. I was a youth member of one of the 50 churches chosen to come to Billy Graham's Evangelical Training Center 6 years ago (Shirley Hills Baptist Church, Warner Robins, GA) to be trained as an E-team. Now this year, I just brought my Youth Group to the Atlanta Conference! It was incredible! I can't thank you enough for asking the students to encourage their Youth Pastor's, that was incredible. It was a pay day for sure! Not only that, the 8 youth that we took came back and lit a fire under the other 30 or so, youth that didn't go. This past wednesday night we showed the Go Wide Strategy DVD, and I gave each of the youth in attendance a copy of your Dare 2 Share book. It was incredible. Our youth, even the ones who didn't go, are pumped up about going wide with the gospel! In fact, last night after youth, I had a group of 4 middle schoolers call me saying they were going to their principal today (Thursday) to talk to him about letting them put posters up at school inviting them to our Youth Group, and not only that but to ask him if they could have a student led after school thing once a week where they could share their faith to anyone who would come, and occasionally ask teachers, youth leaders, pastors in the area to come and speak. I was so excited to see my middle schoolers taking charge like that. It is incredible! Thank you so much for what you are doing. Keep it up! It is a blessing! Daniel Peavy First Baptist Church Swainsboro

Well, I'm not really sure where to begin...I am a youth leader with a church in Rome, Ga. This year was my frist D2S and I wish the next one was this weekend. We had a total of 19 that attended and everyone of us have a new light shing around us. I had the most awesome feeling the whole time, and couldn't get enough. Our youth reached out to God like never before and moved in many of their lives. You, my friend, have the most awesome calling on ur life and I know that u will reach out to so many more teens that need God in their lives. D2S rocks and we will be back next year!!!

This is such a comforting post because i'm just starting out in youth ministry, i'm an intern so not yet out of school oficially and i brought a group of 9 to the conference. Now for just being here for about 8 months and will be leaving in 4 months i think its great. but i'm doing the comparing game and that gets discouraging. i had kids in my group asking are we the smallest group? or saying wow there are a lot of groups that have tons of kids in them i wonder if we'll ever be that big. now i dont know if they will but to be perfectly honest 9 kids was enough. And the thing is they had a great time, i didnt hear any complaining and there was just so much enthusiasm in them. they made a sign so we could always find our group and then in the middle of the conference they made another sign on the back of it that said E.S.P.N. Eternal Salvation is Peace Never-ending. They were so proud of it they brought it with them to do the outreach, they made up a "rap" to share the GOSPEL (ps they are the whitest kids around, but they were so proud of it). I was just so pleased with how they responded to this past weekend. i knew it was either going to go one of two ways, they would sit and complain to me the whole time or they would totally love it and they loved it. i had all my kids raise their hands to be on the e-team (granted some were probably doing it just cuz everyone else was) but many i know will be good leaders. i just love my group and i'm totally going to miss them next year. i have to thank you so much for lighting that spark that i knew they had in them. This Sunday at youth group we are going to start the Gospel Journey curriculum and then very soon get an e-team up and running. you have a great ministry and i thank you for all that you do! you are an amazing witness keep up the awesome work that your ministry does!

I'm a 44 year old pastor's wife and this was the first D2S I've been to. My husband has taken teens for the past 3 years and I've heard he and my 16 year old daughter talk about it for the other 11 months of the year! Anyway, it was fantastic! I had to write and tell you that even though I'm 44 I've always been quiet and have never REALLY shared my faith. So this was one nervous Mom on Saturday about 3:15 in the afternoon! My daughter and I went from house to house and we were not having a whole lotta luck because most of the houses had "no solicitation" printed on their doors! Finally we came up on this man who was cutting his grass and we asked him about donating cans. He said he would and that "everybody needs help now and then." He went into the garage, that was open, and told us to follow in there. While we were waiting I started noticing pornography centerfolds all over the walls, ( I was praying that my daughter would not notice....and she didn't!) I really began getting more nervous and uncomfortable seeing those pictures on the wall. The man came back and gave us a lot of canned food and I asked him if there was anything we could pray about for him and he said, "No thanks, I was born alone and I'll die alone." Well, we left the house and he stayed on my mind. Finally, about 30 minutes later, I went back to talk to him, feeling that I needed to show him the "GOSPEL". He was very nice and we talked for about 15 minutes, but he still was not convinced. He believes in God, but is one of those people who doesn't understand why bad things happen if God is loving. I tried to explain the whole "Adam and Eve/Garden of Eden/sin" thing to him, but he wasn't interested. Before leaving I asked if I could pray for him in the future and he said I could. I thought about getting his address and sending him any info I could find about the questions he had, but my husband wouldn't let me do that......he didn't want the man who had centerfolds up all over his wall and blood shot eyes to know where I live! I wanted to send this to tell you THANK YOU for teaching me, a 44 year old, stay at home, mother of three, pastor's wife, how to show people the "GOSPEL"!! I WAS nervous, but the nervousness gave away to excitement while I was talking to the guy! One more thing....my daughter has been sick for the past 8 months and the doctors don't know why. She is weak, has extreme pain, and nausea much of the time, but she has only grown in her faith in God. She has been too sick to go to school so she has had to do school at home. During this time she has written some devotionals for teens. She didn't let her sickness keep her away from D2S this year! She was pretty sick on Saturday, but still went to collect food and share the GOSPEL. I just appreciate so much your, and the whole D2S group, dedication to youth. So many times people look down on teens as "no good delinquents", but if we don't tell them there is more to life, who will? THANKS!!!
