Shrewd- for FREE!

Who wants a free book for their ipad or iphone? My Friend Rick Lawrence (from Group Magazine and author of another book: Sifted) is about to launch a new book called “Shrewd”and we are giving away ONE copy of it here! Check out the video below.

All you have to do to be entere is make a comment on this blog post OR tweet about this blog post.

If you are commenting, you could say “so stoked the book is coming out”, “I read sifted, and it rocked, so Shrewd is gonna be awesome too”, or “pick me” (although that’s kinda lame). That’s it! When you make a comment though, make sure to put your real name and e-mail so I can get a hold of you and let you know.

The not-so-small/fine print:

• You will only be able to view this sweet digital book on an ipad or iphone. If you are the winner, you’ll need to go to bookshout.com and create an account—it’s FREE and is a simple process that takes less than 30 seconds.
• If you win, when you open “Shrewd” for the first time—a question-prompt will come up, asking if you would like to follow Rick Lawrence (y’know my friend…the Author). Since I know you will want to follow him, when you open the book you’ll see a notepad, where you can follow Ricks notes on the book, and the notes of others. Essentially, this is a digital book club that includes the author of the book.
• Once you’re in the book, you can create your own notes by highlighting text and typing what you want to say—it looks and works a lot like highlighting text on an iPad or iPhone. You can also download an app for your iPhone or iPad to make it easier to access BookShout quickly.
• The book won’t be available until August 1st, when BookShout will automatically load it into your account. So, if you win, create that account before then and it will be in there automatically.
• You can make a comment or tweet until midnight (Mountain Standard Time US) Sunday, July 29th, and be entered to win the ONE free copy. Comments/tweets after that won’t be eligible. Since I am going to pick a comment/tweet at random, the more comments/tweets the better your chances!
• I will notify the winner of the free copy on Monday July 30th. So, make sure you comment with your real e-mail address or follow me on twitter, so I can notify you (by e-mail or direct message)!
