Greg,

All I can say is 'Wow'. I had always thought that questioning God WAS doubting, but what you've written truely does make sense. Normally I don't come to the Dare2Share website unless I have a feeling that I should. Lately, I HAD been questioning a lot of things about what I don't understand and I kept thinking it was a really bad thing. So when I came across this 'rant', as you may put it, it really had shown a new light on what I had been thinking. God loves us all and I truely do believe that whatever He does, He does because He loves us! Maybe now I can finally ask some of those questions I had been afraid to ask before! He really is using you, Greg. Keep up the awesome work!

In Christ Jesus,

Greg,
I honestly wonder how many of these "this made an impact on my life" comments that you get. I think it's amazing the way you can connect to people of any age. I attended Dare2Share in March of this year, and let me tell you, everything was so perfect. It touched my heart. I was saved just this year, and seeing that many Christians on fire, together in one place, to worship our heavenly father, that was the best sight Ive ever seen. On my walk with God, Ive made many the mistake, but I now know its okay and that mistakes WILL be made. Honestly, I have doubted my faith before. After reading this I truly see the difference. Some friends and I used to say "Doubt it" to everything as a joke. Wow, now the meaning of that word changes to me and I really dont want to hear the joking saying again. I dont want to doubt, but I do have many a question. I watched the video about Dare2Share in 2009 and I cannot wait to become Invincible. It sent chills down my spine to think about attending another conference. I want to thank you for all of these rants and all of your WOW's (words of worship). I look up to you more than you know and I am counting down the days until the conference. I thank God for you and your words, you have truly made an impact on my life.

Hey Sam,

Yeah, that's a tough one. I think as you struggle through those questions just keep your eyes riveted to Jesus and trust him no matter what. Whatever doubts you have about yourself (which I struggle with as well by the way) just don't transmit them to God. Sounds like you get that to me.

Great question!

Good post, but in the spirit of the post itself, i have questions. What if you doubt yourself? what if you doubt your own faith? for example, many times when i go through a period of doubt, i don't doubt God's ability. I know that God will save all who believe, but my actions seem to point out that my faith is not real. does that make sense? What i've always heard is that when you doubt yourself in this way, you end up doubting God's ability, so you are basically doubting God. I just wanted to get your perspective.

thanks

Right before I went to your blog, for a second I was thinking about God, and doubting. It was neat to open the page and see DOUBT written in big letters. God's timing is perfect!!!

I've gone through seasons of questioning and doubting. I agree, they are both very different things. What really caught me and made me relapse from my doubting was me thinking, "If God doesn't exist, life is meaningless." I'm glad it's been a while since I doubted, but I think sometimes I analyze a tad too much when I question. I need to accept certain things. Thanks for the post Greg, I enjoyed it.

God Bless!
