   • What a great job Greg! I thank God for someone finally having the courage to bring up hell from the pulpit! I just finished a book called 23 minutes in hell and was just praying that someone would have the strength to talk straight about the reality of hell and there you were talking about the “weeping and gnashing of teeth” which is one of the very terms that was resonating in my mind.
     I confess, I was expecting something a bit more “sugar-coated” and instead got a very real, meaningful gospel message! Thank you Greg. God bless you.

   • honestly i don’t think i could tell you the last time i openly shared my faith. i went to a friends youth group this past week while visiting and was asked to take a bible verse and transform it into a simple way for the gospel message to be told to a non-believer. i thought it would be easy since im the only christian in my family so i have experience but it wasnt i freaked and couldn’t come up with anything so in front of the fove or so in our group i became lipsealed. i don’t know if i am actually capable of sharing my faith with those around me…

One trusted Christ (a guy named Justin), a girl named Samantha who was already saved and another girl who I just cannot seem to remember her name at the moment. She was already saved also. Although I talked to both of the girls at different times, they both seemed excited that someone would take the time to talk to them about it. As I quizzed the one girl on what she meant when she said “because I have Jesus in my life” she took notice that I was digging deeper for what she was basing her faith upon rather than some fancy term. Then we talked for a moment about clarity in the gospel message. It was awesome. I’m also waiting to hear back from two people who are reading the Venti Jesus Please book.

   • I’ve been trying to share my faith more since the Dare 2 Share conference I went to in Seattle. It was a blast and has completely changed my ways about talking to people about my faith. I’ve never been really open about it but people always knew that I was a Christian, so since D2S I’ve been trying to be more open about it. I called one of my athiest friends while we were at the conference and talked to him for a while and it was more possitive than it ususally is, normally he would be very insulting towards me but he just listened this time and it was very encouraging. I’ve also been talking to my other friends about it whenever it comes up: in class, at lunch, during tennis practice, whenever. It’s been a blast and even though I haven’t had any really deep one-on-one conversations with anyone, I know that God used Dare 2 Share as a tool to break me out of my shell. Thanks for running such an amazing ministry.

I want you to know that every one of us walked away with a huge smile on our face and Christ’s joy in our heart. We had never thought of Jesus as a Youth Pastor, but your message opened our eyes to Christ and His relationship with His disciples. Your message also encouraged us, as all the ladies in my group had teenagers! We enjoyed your funny stories and sense of humor and it felt great to laugh! We also enjoyed your honest and passionate testimony, along with your commitment to the Lord. I took the 48 hour challenge and found myself sharing the Good News, not with the person I wrote down on my sheet, but with a friend who was walking away from her faith. God is amazing! I am humbled that he would use me.

     Thank you for serving our Lord. His love, humor, grace, and truth shine through you with a great energy. I pray that God will use you in a mighty way this weekend in Chicago. To God be the glory!
