For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you." Nero was far worse than England's King. Just curious about your thoughts on this if you have time. On the flip side, out here is CA the gay marriage ban was reversed thanks to our voting! Praise god. Its funny I was talking to my dad a few days ago who has been a die hard democrat for years and he said to me "we have to vote for Mccain" For my dad it wasn't about Christianity but even he sees how politics have changed over the years, back when he was voting in Kennedy there wasn't stem cell research, gay marriage and other things on the agenda. It was simply about which "good guy" was the best guy. And we do submit to that authority. My husband is a United States Marine and has a new commander in chief. But Greg, with Mr President's elects plan to downsize our military my husband just re-enlisted for 4 more years to ENSURE he got his 20 year mark (in contract form) to take him over that hump. It has both a right wing and a left wing. It takes both of them to fly." I might like to add..........'and God always controls the wind currents!' While my own personal feelings are still a little jumbled this morning when it comes to politics and this election, God is constantly reminding me that He knows what he's doing! 'Just believe, keep praying, and share His Gospel with whomever He leads you to!' I heard an interesting comment this morning as I was driving to work:
