I was an attendee at the Summit--thanks for your message. I really appreciated your obvious obedience to God's direction for your life. I have been spending a lot of time lately (more so than usual) seeking ways to fire up our youth to share their faith. I see God continuing to work in the lives of this generation and your willingness to share your time with us was definitely motivational. Thanks for all you do.

Sorry to hear you're hurting all over, and it's cute that you get to spend time with your son. (I remeber the story you told us in St, louis, about your son and the heart broken old lady in the store. that was hilarious!!) Have fun on the remaining D2S trips and try not to hurt your self.

Congrats on the trip! Hey thanks again for everything you do. Saturday is going to be my date with my 7 year old boy. Here is his plan. First we get to blast some rockets to the moon, then we have to go eat, and finally a little bowling. I have been busy most weekends this year raising money for camp, going to D2S in Phoenix last weekend etc, etc. so I too am looking forward to the ministry of time with my son. I often think my own two kids think I love my Church kids more than them. Anyone got some wisdom for a busy volunteer youth Pastor with a family and a full time job? It gets crazy. On top of that I have just lost one of my volunteers that was teaching my Wed. night youth class. Little help please! Just kidding. I am thankful that God has provided you a chance to spend time with your son!

Hey Greg!! That's so awesome that you took your son along with you :D My Dad is a pastor and so I know how it can get pretty crazy and be hard to find family time, but some of my favorite trips were the ones I went on with just me and my Dad to go preach to a bunch of old people :D I was so proud to learn to read the map haha. We never got to go to Orlando, though, and my Dad wasn't teaching youth leaders, so your son is pretty lucky ;) but it was still God's work and its always a good thing for a child to see their parents following Christ in every aspect of their life. I pray that one day God bless me with a wonderful family, like yours, and that my husband and I can be the kind of parents that teach their children to put God first in everything they do. You are such an inspiration and an encouragment to me. Thank you for continuing to stand strong in the Lord and for sharing your little life memories with all of us!! Pray hard, keep on, and rock the faith!! By His Grace, Raelene E. Sawyer

hey greg thats so cool how you want to spend time with your son. i got in a little "disagreement" with my dad, i recently gave my life to God and i havent talked to my dad like actually talked to him ever in my life (he was abusive when i was little so we never really talked) and today he told me that i would eaither have to choose him or God, and it was hard (but i did choose my dad...in heaven) so it is really encoruaging when i see dads like you who want to spend time with their kids. just another reason to show why you are so cool :) God bless -eRika

Have a great time with your son! Though we do not have kids (we've been trying) I cherish those moments with my wife when I'm not running from church to church and camp to camp. God will bless the time you have together.
