What one word would you use to describe what God taught you last year?

Forgiveness
I dont know if i cold describe all of 2006 with just one word, well heres my try: reliancetrustunconditionallovehopeeverythingworksoutnomatterhowbaditisIwillalwaysbethereandforgivnesscompletetotalforgivness. or, if you want an easier readable format, reliance, trust, unconditional love, hope, everything works out, no matter how bad it is I will always be there and forgivness, complete total forgivness.
vulnerability ….in a good way though..to not be afraid of showin some emotion to people and not living behind these giant walls of denial and a mask of toughness…let people get close to me and trust God to take care of me..in every way…every day…just like it says in Nahum 1:7 and Matthew 6:33
faith… definitely not sight
I would have to say revolution, and not in the communist since. I was reborn over the summer, so i have been going through many radical changes within myself. Including my choice of career: Doctor to preacher
FAITH- I am now full-time into the ministry, leaving behind a job for 9 years and a great little church where I was serving as part-time (part-time pay anyway) God has never spoken to me as clear as He has in the past 4 months of transition.
Grace. This year my wife was counseling one of the students in our youth ministry. The student shared something she was dealing with, that was holding her back. God used that situation to show my wife that she needed to tell me something from her past that she had never shared with me, and that had been holding her back. She had lived in fear for the last 15+ years because she thought that I would leave her if I ever found out. She asked me to sit down and when she told me we were both shocked. Not shocked about the "thing" as much as about my reaction. We were both amazed because I didn’t freak out, yell, scream, or leave. She asked me if I hated her and with all honesty I looked her in the eye and told her that I loved her more than ever. And I do!! You see if Jesus could go to the cross for a worm like me, how could I judge my wife. God gave me the GRACE to see past the sin and into the heart of a wonderful woman that I have been blessed to have in my life for the last 15+ years. So Greg my word for 2006 is GRACE because now I really know what grace looks, feels, and sounds like.
Perseverance
Hey, by the way, when you come to St.louis, are you going to come speak at E-free? my friend wants to know if you remember her, you talked to her a lot, she was the one who wrote you that letter and you put it on D2S website last year.
I’m actually not speaking at E-Free this year. I have to be in Indianapolis on Sunday morning for a Youth Leader conference.

uhh..do i have a pick a single word?? there’s too many to choose from…:]] but if i had to pick one, it would be…prayer.because i do that now. thanks so much for motivating meee! i think i heard from my friend that you were going to be in washington d.c. instead of charlotte this year. i live closer..aww..i like the long road trips, and then doing-donuts-in-the-middle-of-the-road….dont ask :p haha…well anyways…we are starting the whole "gospel journey" thing again i think in like 2 weeks, so we will probably see you again sometime. anywhoziez, i gostuh go. byeziez!!! –>>jessy

Gift God showed me that i have a gift and he has given me the amazing oppritunities to use it…. he’s still helping me to develope it though 
Faith. 2006 was a hard year with everything in school, church, home, with friends and family. I just kept telling myself to have faith and everything would work out. And it did and in 2006 my relationship with the Lord grew stronger and better with each bump in the road i had to get over. So when ever some one is havin a problem or is stressed about something. Just have faith and it’ll all work out in the end. I found a quote and it says "Everything will be okay in the end, if its not okay its not the end" Which is true. Life has many bumps and mounains you have to get over. Its hard and stressful but at the end its worth it. So i pray every one has a blessed 2007 and just remember have FAITH! God Bless Brianna
Phenomenal…..2006 was just phenomenal I have learned SO much and have seen so many things. God has helped me through so many hard times and he is still here for me. And we have been walking closer and closer together and I am just not afraid of anything anymore because I know I have the BIG J.C. on my side. Muchas Gracias mi amigo, Andrew

grace. i truly have discovered the meaning and the beauty of the word this year.
love and freedom . if anything i have learned last year that Jesus’ love is big enough to overcome any situation that i’vehad and will have. and His love is big enough to overcome any sin i’ve ever committed. God is bigger than i am, yet he still loves me. He made me out of dust, and still says that i was worthy enough and beautiful enough to have his son die for me. All because He loves me more than I will ever know. I love you Jesus! and though i will never love him as much as he does me, he still glad to have me in his arms. Jesus LOVES each and everyone of you, no matter what you’ve thought or done, and I’m glad he does or else i’d be somewhere really hot right now. God bless everyone. PS i love this site, i know that i’m not alone in the good fight!

Trust and perseverence for 2005 and 2006 (God isn’t limited by our calendar, and I’m stubborn enough that He ends out teaching me the same thing several times before I get it). I think that patience is the lesson God is integrating into my life right now and into 2007. Summary: Trust, perseverence, and patience [And thank you Brianna for the quote.
