Your third paragraph states, "Let me put it plainly, Jesus told us to “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations” not “Go into all the world to eradicate poverty and social injustices.” Because Jesus knew that these kinds of efforts by themselves were at best hacking at the leaves of evil."

How can it be reconciled with Matthew 10:14. "If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town."

Amen! The only qualification I would add is from 2 Peter 1...if those works aren't there then either they are not saved (as you mentioned above) or "they are nearsighted and blind and have forgotten their former purification from sins." Peter even alluding to this as a possibility shows that it is a possibility.

I agree with the need to share the gospel. We are vessels of mercy carrying the most important news ever... Jesus has paid the ransom for sinners, believe and be saved!!! At the same time though the bible is full of instructions to be full of good works. In Matthew 25 Jesus separates the sheep (those that really know him) from the goats (those who don't know him) by good works committed in His name. Don't get me wrong, we DON'T earn our way there, but the fruit of a life changed by the gospel is a life filled with good works. In Titus 3 Paul says, "I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone".
In your message above you mention - "Those who respond will become game changers in the process". That is us, we have been changed and now must be game changers as well as soul winners. We should be both without the exclusion of either. Doing good works in the name of Jesus will give us great opportunity to be a witness to those around us. Just my thoughts.
