Are you implying that we need to choose to live obediently, sold out to God in His power instead of staying in our own power and hoping He won’t require more than what we are comfortable to give???? Gosh! Fasting and praying and looking spiritual on occassion is a heck of a lot easier than living completely sold out to God all the time. People might think we’re Jesus freaks or something…lol…

I laugh. But your post is quite convicting. Now we’re not invalidating fasting and praying here, right?

If we can get the human race to stop driving while on a cell phone long enough to band together enough to stop all of the rocks in space from wiping us all out, then this whole subject might be important.

I believe part of the problem with people seeking revival mans way is because some haven’t realized that God has “given us everything we need for life and godliness.” I’m praying we ALL realize this truth. Thanks for a great post!
