I hear ya Greg. I love raising a son who has accepted Christ and at a young age is working through some cool spiritual questions. One of my favorite questions we worked through is, "Why don't all people believe in Jesus so they can all go to heaven?" Another spiritual funny one he recently asked, "Why did Eve have to do that and ruin it for everyone?"

It is amazing when a child calls it as he sees it, with absolute faith that it is good and right, and has no need to pick it apart or validate it with theology. (not that there is anything wrong with theology) Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.

Its also wonderful to see a father who is not afraid to openly teach the gospel to his son. Genesis 18:18 Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him. 19 For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, so that the LORD will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him."

Greg, the Lord has used you greatly to call His children to proclaim His name, and He will greatly bless you and your house and children.

That's amazing Greg. It truly is amazing grace when a little one can share (without shame or fear) more openly than a grown adult. Go Jeremy Go!

Isn't it nice that these stories of his youth are fossilized on the net for all time, allowing present strangers, future girlfriends and potential employers to get a handle on "the real Jeremy"! (”Hey dad, you should see this one!”) I bet he'll thank you when he's older.
