I wanted to see it, but we had our Youth Leader Retreat this past weekend. I hope to see it this coming Friday. I heard our Youth Pastor, Pastor Andrew (the Aussie from Souderton), saw you down in DC this past week.

I saw the documentary Monday and I thought it was awesome!!!! I really liked the interviews with the evolutionary scientists.

My youth group showed a little video about it like you know in the theatres…the commercials…that’s it.anyway they gave people a chance to see it but i didn’t get a chance to go but they are going again so i hope i can go see it!

Greg, it was a great movie, saw it Saturday.

One thing people need to understand is that it is a 90 minute documentary and as such can seem long and boring. However that said our family (2 adults, 26 yr old 16 yr old) all enjoyed it and got a lot out of it. He is not proving any theory but just as you pointed out wants to be able to allow the debate to take place. He makes a lot of GREAT points. It is funny how some of the institutions try to cover up the predigest and others admit to it when it comes to anything other than Darwinism.

Every Christian should see this. If you want to have fun, take a non-Christan friend and then sit down and discuss it after words. That is if they want a good debate topic.

Ben Stein does a great job of attacking the question “Can we talk about this?”

I saw it Friday night, but found it kinda boring and difficult to follow. My wife won a free screening of the movie for our church and community at Y.S. in St. Louis, so we’ll follow-up on that since it’s not showing within 2 hours of us, but I dunno, the arguments didn’t really feel that compelling to me.

Hey,

I went and saw Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed today with a few of my friends, and it was awesome! Definitely thought provoking. I thouroughly enjoyed watching the “debates” that went on between Ben Stein and some of the evolutionary scientists. I got a lot out of it. To be honest, I think I can honestly say that movie changed my life. It really put things into perspective for me. My friends seemed to get a lot out of it too. Anyway, I can’t wait for it to come out on DVD, I may have to go see it again while it is in theaters. Thanks Greg for the review that you posted, if you hadn’t done that I never would have even known that there was a movie out such as Expelled.

Hey Leah, tough one. As you make your decision (which is yours to make) just remember that the call of the Christian is to “speak the truth in love”. How can you best stand for truth in a loving manner? In the words of the old preacher from two centuries ago “God give me the mixture of the lion and the lamb.”

Hey greg, i was just wondering if you had any take on the Day of Silince in schools. Its always been a big deal at the shcools i’ve attended and this year promises to be no different. I am also farmiliar with the Day of Truth- the Christian counter-movement but would participating in the day of Truth just escalate things or would not participating be not standing up for my beliefes as a christian? WHat are your thoughts?
