Dear Greg,

Hey I loved the podcast and this blog about prayer. I can truthfully say that after all the Mission trips, Dare2Share conferences, Summer camps, fall retreats, sermons, etc. that none of it compares to how much prayer has brought me closer in my relationship with God. Well I am preaching at See You At The Pole this year at my school. So right now I need some prayer brother. Please pray for me. I am preaching about the importance of prayer, and Sunday, I plan on hammering down a good outline for the sermon. So pray for me please. God bless you Greg.

Shalom,
Joseph

Hi Greg,

I talked to you today at the luncheon in Kansas City and just read everything I could get my hands on about the vision and mission of Dare2Share. I am thrilled to read that you are experiencing the joy and refreshment of prayer. I am heavy-hearted but also a little excited to hear that there has been a financial crunch lately, especially since God has been putting fund-raising on my heart. Excited seems like the wrong word, but it's the excitement of seeing a need I believe God strategically placed me to fill. It's just like our Daddy to put a passion in my heart then lead me to the need He wants me to fill. I am taking your words, "See you on staff" as we parted today very seriously, my brother. I am curious about what God is unfolding. Did I mention I love Colorado and have friends who do international student ministry at CU Boulder? Did you know I graduated from Nazarene Bible College in the Springs? I am going to keep praying and watching the job listings on the D2S site. I hope to work with you soon. It would not be difficult to become very passionate and doggedly committed to helping maintain a close relationship between donors, the Great Commission, and the teens of our nation.

Sincerely,

Esther Spencer

Wow! Thanks for sharing your life and your heart with us. I find myself in the intense trial right now. I must admit, I am borderline discouraged. I am a youth leader and things have been brought to the light about a few of our youth. It has been something that has dropped me to my knees.(a place a should have been more often before this happened)I don't want to live in the past, and need to move forward. I know the Lord has something big for our youth group and I always remind my team not to loose focus. But sometimes I am guilty of loosing focus...... thanks for bring me back. Thank you for your encouraging words in this blog over the years.

It's nice to hear someone just flat admit, "I say this to my shame..."

Honesty about our spiritual condition is a necessity of spiritual growth, yet too often it's hidden for the sake of an image or reputation.

Thank you for your upfront and open example.

Way to instigate, Greg!
I've been praying a lot more intensely the last 10 months with my new business venture. Isn't it cool how the more we pray, the more God Draws us to Himself to share so many more facets of our lives? I find myself praising Him the middle of situations that even a year ago(or one minute ago) I would have exploded in anger or shrunk in intimidation. And the last four months I have really been praying the Armor of God, preparing my heart for 'Invincible'. Man, Is our Holy Spirit Powerful! I can DEFINITELY discern the Difference when I ask Him to Be Present and Act As Messenger Uniting God and His Church As One. Thanks for the podcasts, brother. God is Using them in a Powerful Way as He Calls me to this Romantic Adventure He Has Designed.

As ironic as this sounds, I'm praying for the day that I am as passionate about a prayer life as you have become over the last 12 months.
