   • I just got back from the church service that Tiffany Johnson one of the two dead attended regularly. I don’t go there but my roommate Greg does. What’s moving for me is earlier today I couldn’t get the verse “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints” Psalm 116:15 out of my head. A few hours later my mother called me and told me what happened and to be careful. Then I happened to attend the service one of the victims had regularly attended. I don’t want to toot my own horn but I couldn’t stop weeping for her and the others and the families. We are to “weep with them that weep” Romans 12:15 even if we aren’t with them. I’ve gone on too long. My day surrounded the shooting even without myself realizing it. God bless Greg and my prayers are with you, Jeremy, your wife Lisa if I have that right and your daughter…her name escapes me.

     We in Iowa are praying for the families of those lost.

   • This news is soo heartbreaking! i can’t believe that someone would want to do something like this!I live in Colorado so i don’t really have a personal connection to this but just the thought that their are people like this has paranoid me in a really bad way!
     So there s a new guy at our youth center that has had a really bad life. Fights with hiis parents, running away from home, attempted suicide, drugs,even had a kid before marriage(he’s 17.) When he first came we found he had a knife. Me and my friends began to talk to him the next week (as soon as we made sure he did not have a weapon on him). he was so close to becoming a true Christian.Then this shooting happenend and we got really scared. Was God testing our faith by this fear or was it a sign to back away? My youth Pastor wouldn’tput us in danger.He knows this guy’s background. Should we try to change his life so he won’t do anything to our church? We are not in the best of neighbor hoods. Our church had so many people that the youth has been renting places. The curent place is by DQ and at tattoo parlor. We are scared to and i have been praying abou this but I need advice.

The entire Christian community should be trying to reach this kid with the hope and freedom that comes only in Jesus Christ. Thank you for your great question.
