I would have to say that the conferance made a big impact on my life. I learned how to share my faith with others. And that is really important because I have 3 friends. One being an atheist,the other is muslim and just thinks it would be bad if she ever set foot in a church, adn the other who is typical adn is just not thinking clearly and she thinks her life is so hard and I keep trying to tell her that it won’t get any better if she doesn’t put her faith in the lord. Also my parents don’t really know Christ and the same with my brothers and  if they died tommorrow then they wouldn’t go to heaven. it is just not possible right now so I am sharing the word with them today. so pray for my family,my friends, and me so that i will have enough strength and courage to tell everybody i know about the love of Jesus Christ.

In the next couple of weeks my small group is going to be talking about how to share your faith, and i found this helpful and plan on sharing it with them. But when i go back to college i plan on sharing with this girl i met in my world religions class, we have been talking since the very first day of class. She happened to live on the street right next to mine. Which i found amazing and have felt called to witness to her, but i haven’t known how to. So when i go to class i plan on sharing.

   • Of course I was there!!! =) I wouldn’t miss it for the world after last year’s life changing experience. Gameday impacted me in a lot of ways. The worship was AWESOME!!! (love you, Starfield!) and the teaching was amazing. There’s so much I could say about it I had the time. Please, please, please, please, please, PLEASE come back next year!!!!!!!

   • Hey, I was there!!!  It was so much fun!!!  Listening to Starfield, Rachel Washington, Superchic[k], Jose, and you really impacted the way I view things and the way my mind works.  Friday night was especially emotional when the judgement day skit ended…it took everything I had not to burst out in tears… which I still did when we got back to our hotel.  Oh, my friend(who I’m hoping to talk to fr my 48 hour challenge) says hi even though she has no clue who you are.  Thank you so much for everything you do!!!!

    • Hey Greg! I was at the Twin Cities D2S conference and everyone in my church was seriously impacted! I witnessed to a girl today that I have gotten into fights with Satan for her soul before. She is really trapped. Her mom won’t let her go to church (says it’s a waste of money), she is actually Catholic, and she is very stubborn. I just brought up God and she started crying. She was yelling at me for always critasizing her about not going to church. I don’t critasize! I just ask her if she knows for sure where she will go when she dies. Any advice?

    • Greg, This was the first big event I was able to take my kids to. SiGNS Student Ministries has only been around since January. As a part-time youth pastor (who still manages to hold down a full-time job and have a wife and 18month old little boy), I was very much looking forward to observing my kids in action instead of being the one in front of them. Friday night reminded me of why we do this; when you had the leaders stand up. I happened to be in front by the "throne chair" and it just really hit me again that the KIDS are the whole reason we do this sacrificially and without need for thanks. Its all because we’re called and we desperately want to see our teens have a life altering experience with God. I am excited about integrating the things I learned in the first adult session and, after looking over the interlinc stuff, I’m pumped about using those dvd’s and leaders guides (if you’re a leader, you really need to check that stuff out)  Most of all, Greg, I’m completely psyched to see how this has changed the kids that were there and am about to jump head first into a great new adventure with them!  Thanks, Greg

    • Twin Cities,   This is our second year.  Including adults our group was 46.  It was fantastic again to have our young people enthusiastically going door to door.  Also the realization that there are some other young people sold out for the CROSS and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We chose this over "ATF".   Greg, you mentioned how you want big like "Ron Luce".  I have two things about that.  First nothing against Ron Luce I have friends there at this very Momment. 2.) How do you expect to have kids feeling engaged from the top half or even quarter of the Target Center?  We will not attend something with our youth group that large again, plus how do you organize somthing that big.  Thats the other reason we chose "D2S".   ORGANIZED…..Thank you for this and it shows.  One thing our Youth Group was agreeing on was wishing that Starfield had done the last show.  D2S went from uncrompromising "Word" John 1:1  Uncrompromising Worship to a band who obviously was put-out to perform for us.  By the way do our youth really need to be listening to secular music covered by "Christian Artists".  -Bloody Sunday- She moves in masterious ways-  Are you kidding me?  We are separate, a strange, Weird, Weird people.  CHRISTIANS  So lets act like it and be LOSERS without compermise!     • OK, I’m getting kind of jealous!  Our D2S isn’t until March here in Phoenix.  I did attend the Youth Leader Lunch at Jilian’s last Thursday.  I must say Greg it was just in time.  I was in the discouraged mode, but you have a way of encouraging and motivating that really got me excited.  It reminded me of when Paul told Timothy(I think) to stir up the gift inside of him (loose paraphrase).  Thanks for being the Youth Pastor’s Pastor!  We couldn’t do it without people like you and they seem to be few and far between, so keep it up!  Looking forward to a great D2S.   Oh and I started reading "Ministry Mutiny".  It is wonderful.  If there are any of you out there that are discouraged and you want to quit, please please read this book first!!!!

The person i called for my 48 hour challenge is someone i have been friends with for a long time and was raised by a very christian family. but she has been struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, and severe ADD that kind of has impared her judgement to do wats best. i just hate seeing her fall slowly through the cracks. i kind of gave up on her after we got in a fight a while back, but after Saturday night i realized that i should never turn my back on anyone. I have called and talked to her more and talked to her today at school, and  i think i am hanging out with her sometime this weekend. from wat she is telling me i think she is really in need of something and i cant tell wat it is yet, but i am hoping ot help in any way i can. Thank you so much to everyone that made Dare 2 share possible, and i cant wait to see wat you guys have for us next fall. <>< NIKKI

    • Hi!  This Dare2Share retreat was amazing!  I felt the Lord as you were talking, I was like OhMyGosh!!!!!!!!  When you told the pastors to get out in the aisle, and everyone was praying, I was just bawling my eyes out.  I bet I wasn’t the only one.  The Retreat impacted me to be a good Christan.  (sorry bad spelling)  Greg, the day after Dare2Share, all throughout the day I was praying like crazy!!!!  At the end of the day, I realized that I was changing into a different Better Person!  Dude, Greg, Dare2Share was awesome, and wonderful!  During Worship, we got to go in front and see Starfield in real life!!  I got their picture with them!  I was so excited! I been praying for my friends, ecspelly those who are in wiccan.
