Hey Greg! After reading this, I have realized that I truly need Christ in my life. Ya see, two days ago I had some serious doubts about my faith in Christ. I got to the point where I completely turned away from God. I basically said, "Screw you, I don't need you in my life!" I have been a christian all my life (because that's the way my parents raised me.) Now, I am still having doubts because I was trying to think of how to lead my friend, who is a strong non-believer, to Christ. I started to try to be "in her shoes" and think about how she must be frustrated with all of the christians that go to our school and how people sometimes force their faith onto non-believers. Then, yesterday I decided that I wanted to go study for finals in the fort in my backyard that I've had since I was born. So, as I was putting the ladder up to the fort so I could get all of my school stuff situated up there, I noticed that it didn't quite fit. I looked at the side of the ladder and noticed that a few nails were sticking out of the side. So I decided to climb up the side of the fort. I stepped up onto a wooden bar on the side and held onto the railings. I got the hammer and I was trying to figure out how to get down. I had already injured my right foot and have been limping around for about a month now so I wanted to step down with my left leg first. I didn't realize how far from the ground the bar was. so when I stepped down, about 3 feet from the ground, my leg couldn't hold all of my weight being forced down on it at one time so it buckled underneath me. I called my mom at work and she told me to just get into the house and put up my leg to keep it from swelling. I started to get up and walk into the house when my leg buckled under me a second time. In about ten minutes. So I told her I couldn't walk and that my leg buckles every time I put pressure on it and it makes painful cracking noises and hurts a lot. God sure does have a sense of humor and interesting ways to speak to us. As I 'crutched' my way into the local children's hospital(my mom drove me; I didn't go from my house to children's on crutches), I started to sit down in the chair to tell the guy why I was coming in today when I put pressure on my knee accidentally and it buckled a third time in one day. I got x-rayed and the doctor said there is a possible ACL tear/injury. They couldn't tell anything else because my knee was so swollen.

Anyways, I learned from this that I truly DO need Christ in my life. I'm just having major doubts. But I /want/ to believe, I just don't. Just saying that you believe in Christ doesn't cut it. You have to actually /believe/ it.

So now I'm sitting on my couch 2 days before final exams in extreme pain realizing that God really has a sense of humor and that I need Christ in my life.

I have gone to D2S the past two years and I love it! I really wanna meet your little boy some day. He sounds so adorable! =]

That is amazing.... You never know what God has planned for you, you never know who's life you will be put into to be a way to talk about God and to talk about the gospel.... This story is a real encouragement

Thank you,

I really don't know where to start. I am just going to write freely. I am an adult that was invited to just come and experience Dare 2 Share in Columbus Ohio. Experience does not even begin to articulate how God opened my eyes.

First revelation: As an adult, I should be "Shredding the Nar" and not just expecting the youth to do something I dont feel comfortable doing. My constant drive on this is... "Did Jesus feel comfortable with nails in his hands hanging on a cross". It is a bit dramatic but it is so true. I realized I was in what I am now calling "My comfort zone for Christ" when I listened and learned the basic tools.

I had the amazing blessing of having several "God Things" happen on that day. When we went out to plant seeds and get food this was tough but amazing. One guy at the door said his wife does all the praying for him. In my humor I said are you sure she is praying for you ? Ok so humor is not always excepted but I went to a house that I felt lead to go to. It was in the middle of a row of houses we had not yet explored. I walked up and knocked on the door. After a minute a timid elderly lady appeared at the door and said I normally do not answer the door unless I know who is coming but somethign told me to answer the door just now. I smiled and said yes I am here to pray with you. We skipped right over the greetings ect and went to it. I prayed for her strength as she is suffering terribly with cancer. Her pastor has not called on her in a little while and she was feeling alone. It was then she heard the knock at the door. The point I am trying to make for other readers and sort of to remind myself. Just as they said in the sessions.... you have to plant seeds and it may take 7 houses to get one like this precious lady. But those seven houses have seeds planted. The special lady just needed nurtoring.

It is my hope to just walk to people in my neighborhood and just ask them if they have anything they would like to receive prayer for. With so many foreclosures in the area... I think I can do this. Through Christ I know I can do this.

May God richly Bless this ministry and I cannot wait until next year.

God bless your little Jeremy! I just got home from taking my "little" Jeremy to his first Dare 2 Share and we will never be the same! After the conference I came over to talk to you & all I could say was "Thanks. Thank you so much!" As you reached out to touch my hand, I thought, this is the picture I get in my head sometimes as I pray to God. He's so busy. He has so much to do and so many to listen and respond to, but He's never too busy to respond to even my littlest need. God is using you in such an awesome way to inspire others to take up their own mission God has planned for them. "Thank you!"

May God bless you all for being bold and courageous. The lady was bold enough to ask for your help, Jeremy bold enough as a child to tell her about Jesus and heaven. And you sir courageous enough to embrace the awkward moment. God's hand is in everything and he certainly used you to speak it back into her life. I'll be praying for her healing, hoping for her heart, and thanking God for people like you. Thank you for stopping by this woman and helping her see the face of Jesus. He stops by us all. In Jesus Name - Amen.

Father, give us the wisdom, compassion, honesty and the faith of Jeremy. Protect him Father, from the world that will try so diligently to crush those gifts and replace them with lies as he grows up. Bury this story in his heart and ours and remind us of it often. Open our eyes as wide as his, Father, so we will see those in our daily path who need You. Hold this woman in her pain, Father. Heal her heart with Your Love and never let her forget how Jesus held her in the aisle at the grocery store through Greg as Jeremy told her the truth. Thank you, Father God Almighty, for these moments when You trust us with the work of Your heart. Always in the Name of Jesus. AMEN!!

Wow Greg! That story is so awesome! I don't know if I would ever be able to handle that because when I try teaching people about Jesus, they normally don't break down and cry like that. I feel really bad for that old lady. I'm so proud of your little boy too! If I ever had a little boy doing that I'd be so proud of him. But then again I'm not that old yet so we don't need to plan that far ahead! I'm praying for her!
