    What a great weekend!

-It was our largest first year conference in our 16 year history (3,250ish)

-One hundred teenagers came to Jesus and many more pledged their allegiance to Jesus.

-4 1/2 tons of canned food collected

    -the drama and skits worked

-Derwin and Zane (our new speakers) rocked the house

-Lincoln Brewster was awesome and Stellar Kart was stellar.

    -The Washington Projects were great!

Praise God for putting this weekend together with such a great team. Were you at the D.C. Conference? Did you take the Double Dare? If so…tell me your story!

On to St. Louis Youth Specialties to preach there and then our Denver Conference next weekend.

    Keep praying!

    Signed, Greg Stier

      • Greg,

I brought 20 students and four other adults down to the conference, all for their first time. It was amazing to watch their hearts break for their friends, to see them take the double dare and to spend time answering the “tough” questions the whole ride back to PA. Thanks for spending some time with them last night! Love ya and see you at Invincible!

      • Hey this year was my first year at Dare 2 Share and on Friday they let my youth group in first because we were outside waiting at 4:45 but that doesn’t matter. What matters is that it was amazing and made a difference in my life I know that. During the cell phone challenge my friend and I called one of our friends and went through everything with her and at the end when we asked her the last question she said no and her dad doesn’t belive in Jesus so he won’t let her either. I really am looking forward to next year!

      • The Conference was awesome. There is no way an unsaved youth could have left with out contemplating their own situation with God. The “Elect” skit really left my boys thinking at least. Derwin and Zane just awesome. Lincoln Brewster truly led us to praise and worship the most awesome God. Tonight I hope to we can contiue what we left last night, and direct several changed lives. Thanks Greg and all D2S! I can’t wait till next year, but I know we have much to do until then and Christ is with us.

      • Hi Greg! I was at the DC conference (1st timer) and it was great! My friends and I are pumped to try the can food collection gospel around here after seeing just how effective it can be. Combining helping the poor and evangelism is brilliant. I took the double dare and I’m still in the 48 hour challege and I am nervous to go to school tomorrow.
I know ever since middle school when I was telling people bout Jesus but not doing it in love, I’ve been really reluctant after learning where I went wrong, and afraid of radicalism in general. Sometimes the line can be so hard to draw, I don’t want to force the gospel, but I don’t want to shut it in either. But I’m going to pray for opportunities and the Spirit’s guidance, so hopefully all will go well. Pray for me? Thanks!

i took the 48 hour challenge and the cell phone challenge!! when i took the cell phone challenge i got pumped and excited and i decided to call my friend amanda. This friend is really hurting you can tell by the way she talks and acts. so i called her and she didn’t pick up so i left her a message. Well on our way home she called me and we started talking about were she would go if she died. she told me heaven or hell?? she said she didn’t know?!?!
so i started talking about the G.o.s.p.e.l and i explained it to her. she told me she was going to think this over the night and just get it all together!! and she said she was going to bed so we said bye and hung up but about an hour later she called me and said she wanted to accept Jesus into her life and i prayed with her over the phone.
i just can’t wait to see what else God brings to me in my life

      • Greg – we had 10 teens at our first ever D2S conference and none were disappointed, it was great! I was personally blessed to hear your heart with the leaders, talk with Jeremy and Jason and many other D2S folks and your hearts for God, teens and the lost is a blessing to be around.

Just a quick blessing for you. Sat night we debriefed back at church and 8 of the twelve of us took your double dare, including myself. Last night I got an e-mail from Trisha (9th grade), who was saved in our ministry last Jan and led her best friend to Christ a month later…and she tells me that her good friend who is an atheist had called her Sat and left a message. She calls him back Sat night and goes through the whole gospel, answers a few questions and he says he needs to think about this and he’ll call back. 15 minutes later he calls back and she leads him to Christ over the phone! Praise God. I Hope this becomes more of the norm in our group.

We thank God for you and D2S brother, keep it up! Can’t wait to see ya’ll back in DC throughout the next year and at Invincible next November.

      • Hello Greg!

My church went to D2S this weekend. we’re from WV and we had a great time. we made a lot of memories and the things you talked about brought us closer together. Someone in our youth group accepted Christ for the first time. The bands were AMAZING. Derwin and Zane were AMAZING. i hope that they will be back next year. You did a great job, too. I told my mom about how you said your mom screamed when you scared her and she cracked up. =] But I think above all, God did a great job. And hopefully He’ll keep doing a great job in the lives of the teens that go to the future D2S’s and the friends they talk to Jesus about.

        Thanks so much for everything!

      • I was at the conference…it was my first time at Dare2Share. And to say the least, my life was changed forever. In our Sr high class at my church we are watching the GOSPEL journey, and it’s amazing…and then being at the conference and hearing your and Zane’s story. It made me realize that even I–a cutter, anorexic, bulemic (yes, i was both) and rape victim, could be forgiven for all of that, and that God still wanted me for Himself. Thats just amazing to me. After everything I did, and how many times I’ve tried to stop those things….all the therapists and exercises…I have finally found something that has worked–and He’s been with me the whole time, and that thing is God. I took the challenge along with my 3 friends, my youth leader, and my mom(our youth director) and we are working hard to be sure the people around us–well that we will see them again in Heaven. I just really wanted to say thank you for such a life changing experience…it even led to me calling my exboyfriend, who happens to be the guy who raped me, but I called him and told him about my weekend, and told him I am praying for him….so thanks soo much for sharing your story and changing my life. This weekend really helped put me back on track…which ask my therapist, and he will tell you that that is impossible….but then again, nothing is impossible with God on your side!!…

      • Greg,

Wow that conference was powerful! I appreciate you so much. That was the first D2S Conference Ive been to. When I went w/ part of my youth group (we’re from NY) to the conference I never expected what was coming. It energized us and united us in such an incredible way that I had never seen before. The reality of the hope of heaven, the mission of the gospel, and the joy of redemption brought us together, in such a way, that I have to wonder if I will ever see again. On the bus ride to where we were staying(1hr loooong) we all gathered in the back of the bus and sang and sang and sang. When we got back to the Church we were sleeping at, we gathered around and shared with eachother how God had moved in our hearts and how we had surrendered to him. I was moved by the faith of the people behind the faces that I had become so familiar with.
I was one of the 3 Seniors in our group so it meant a lot to me to spend time with the kids younger than me for the last year I would be around.
I thank God for what your doing!

Im sry how loooong this is!?!

On my way home with my youth group we stopped in the city to go check out some of the historical monuments. When we parked the van we saw that there was a homeless man laying there by a fence. We decided to SHRED THE GNAR with him and it was successful. This man was awesome to talk to.
