Writing for Invincible

Posted on Monday 19 May 2008 by Greg @ 5:54 am

Please pray for Paul Leavitt (the dude who co-writes and directs all things dramatic for the D2S conferences) and myself as we will be writing the drama and skits for the Invincible Tour over the next few days. He has a pretty solid idea for the drama. And hopefully we’ll get the right brainstorming mojo […]

Were you at the Atlanta Survive Conference?

Almost 6,000 teenagers gathered at the Georgia World Congress Center this weekend and were equipped to know, live, share and own their faith. Lincoln Brewster was awesome and Hawk Nelson rocked the house again. And, of course, Zane, Derwin and the res of the D2S team did a phenomenal job.
I would say somewhere between 80-90 […]

Okay, this one was one for the books. Almost 4,000 teenagers were equipped, trained, motivated, kicked in the keyster, encouraged and unleashed. They collectively collected 14 tons of canned goods for the Phoenix Rescue Mission and got to share the good news of Jesus all over the city of Phoenix!
It looked like the entire crowd […]

St. Louis…I think I love you!

What an excellent event! What made it great? The thousands in attendacne? The 24 tons of canned food collected? The hundreds of decisions for Christ?
Sure, that was a big part of it! But, ultimately, it was the Spirit of God working in and on and through the teenagers and youth leaders who attended!
Now the […]

It’s Sunday morning, the day after the Columbus conference. All I can say is “wow”. God did some amazing things!
Well over 5,000 were registered for the event. Final count of canned food collected for the Salvation Army was 9 tons. In addition 159 children were sponsored through Compassion! Tons of people came to Christ on […]

The Survive Conference rocked the Pepsi Center last weekend! Somewhere around 9,000 teenagers and adults filled this sports venue with the screams, chants and excitement that would rival any Avs or Nuggets game!
Results? A late night recount on Saturday night confirmed 20 tons of canned food collected for the Denver Rescue Mission, 500 trusted […]

COLD in COLUMBUS

Posted on Sunday 4 February 2007 by Greg @ 9:44 pm

It’s freezing here. I’m talking 20 below with the wind chill. But that didn’t stop the almost 5,000 teenagers at our Dare 2 Share conference from going door to door to collect canned food and spread the good news of Jesus all across the great city of Columbus. How did they do it without getting […]

Denver Rocked!

Imagine around 9,000 teens, youth leaders and adult sponsors screaming their lungs out and worshipping their hearts out in a jammed and jamming arena and you’ll begin to get a taste of what we experienced at the Game Day training conference in Denver. What a weekend! I’m tired, sore and happy. But, to be honest, […]
